Established in 1979, Doc's Harley-Davidson grew from a one-man operation in the backwoods of Shawano, Wisconsin. From day 1, Doc has based his business on a fond love of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. It all started in 1965 when Doc purchased his first Harley-Davidson® at the age of 14. It was a 1939 Flathead that he purchased for just $2! From there, a constant learning curve of the whole mechanical line began. In 1975, Doc began professionally drag racing a nitro-methane burning Harley-Davidson®. In 1994 Doc set two world records that held for 3 full years! Doc still races a Top-Fuel Harley-Davidson® today along with his daughter who began racing in 1995. In April of 1998, Doc purchased 58 acres of land and built the current dealership. Incorporating a great deal of past experience into the future, together with the whole crew at Doc's, we continue to create an endless stream of imaginative adventures for the best people on the planet earth, the Harley-Davidson rider.
